You upgrade to Symfony 8 and symfony composer update blows up because one of your bundles doesn't support Symfony 8 yet. What's the smartest first move to fix it?

Check the bundle on Packagist, find a newer version that supports Symfony 8, then update the version in composer.json and run the update again

Run symfony composer outdated -D and upgrade every package it lists to the newest major version.

Delete composer.lock so Composer is forced to “figure it out”

Keep Symfony at 8.0.*, but downgrade PHP to an older version so the bundle stops complaining.
