I just came from our company meeting and I have big news! We have just released a new version of our main CSS file!

But I'm getting complaints from users who are unable to see those changes! Oh no!

What is happening? Why are some users seeing out-of-date CSS?

Because when Turbo looks at the new files and see that they have the same name as the ones we already have, it assumes they are the same file and doesn't overwrite them!

Because our browser has cached our CSS and JavaScripts and the user needs to perform a full refresh in order for Turbo to get the new sources.

Because we forgot to enable file versioning in our application. This alone would fix the issue, since Turbo by default reloads all files with different versioning so that it keeps our CSS and JavaScript up to date!
