Hey Josh,

I think it's not so bad, but looks wrong and ridiculous. It could be a possible bug in annotation plugin - try to update PhpStorm itself and then annotation plugin to the latest stable version.

BTW, try to exclude cache directory in PhpStorm: right click on the "var/" directory (or "app/cache/" - it depends on Symfony version) => "Mark Directory as" => "Excluded". The same for "src/", right click on it => "Mark Directory as" => but choose "Source Root" now. Restart you PhpStorm and it should help.
